Zoflora REVIEW

I was lucky to be invited to test out a cleaning product from Zoflora - a 120ml bottle of their concentrated disinfectant in their bouquet fragrance.

Examining both the website & the product packaging, it kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, but I believe its main USP is the long-lasting fragrance, therefore leaving your home both hygenically clean and fresh-smelling.

Most of our home has hardwood, stone or tiled floors, and with two messy pre-schoolers I have a great opportunity to put this cleaning product fully through its paces!

The smell from both the bottle and during cleaning is a subtle floral fragrance - not fake nor overpowering. Gently refreshing the smell of each room of our home.

The best-of-the-best results were in our bathroom, with tiled floor & walls, ceramic suite and a wet-room shower. An excellent clean, with the bonus of a floral fragrance that was delightfully long-lasting.

From the mummy perspective, I like the fact the website promotes that "it is also particularly effective in areas where odours may be an issue, such as rubbish bins, toilets, damp rooms and clean-ups of vomit, pet accidents, spilt milk etc.". With two pre-schoolers, spilt milk/juice, toilet accidents, dropped food, dirty shoes or vomit are a common occurance, and this product cleans it up quickly, and additionally masks the odour with a sweet floral fragrance.

As with all cleaning products, please keep out of sight and reach of children. Undiluted Zoflora is harmful when in contact with skin and if swallowed. Correctly diluted Zoflora can be used around children. Please note this product does not come with a child-proof lid, so please be extra careful.

This product is available in 12 fragrances: Citrus Fresh, Cherry Blossom, Linen Fresh, Bouquet, Lavender, Springtime, Hyacinth, Flowershop, Lilac, Rose and Sweetpea.  Limited Edition fragrances are also available from time to time, currently we have Bluebell Woods. I love the sound of Citrus Fresh - I'm always tempted by orange or lemon fragrances, so fresh and clean smelling.

Zoflora products can be bought from Tesco, Sainsburys, ASDA, Morrisons, Savers, Wilkinsons as well as via cash & carry and independent retailers. A quick peek at Tesco Online shows a 120ml bottle is £1.33, or two for £2 (as of 28th May 2013).
